The Netherlands is the Partner Country at CII AgroTech India - Krishi Bharat 2024.
The Netherlands will have a delegation of over 25+ organisations participating in the trade fair, accompanied by a high-ranking official delegation from the Netherlands Ministry of Agriculture.
The brief profile of the organisations represented in The Netherlands Pavilion will include organisations active in vegetable and potato seed sector, organisations offering solution for the greenhouse sector, water treatment companies, storage companies specializing in potato and fruits, the dairy and animal nutrition sector and civil society organisations. The Pavilion will also focus on the Indo – Dutch Center of Excellence in Vegetables, the services offered in those Centers to train farmers in adopting sustainable agriculture practices, development of value chains to improve post-harvest management.
The theme of The Partner Country Pavilion is ‘Indo – Dutch collaboration to promote sustainability in Horticulture and Animal Husbandry Sector’. In the Pavilion, the Dutch organisations will showcase their products and services and how they are sharing their knowledge and technology with their Indian counterpart for the development of horticulture and dairy sector.
During the days of the trade fair, a Netherlands country session is also being planned which will have participation of high-ranking officials of Ministry of Agriculture of both the Netherlands and India along with speakers from Indian and Dutch organisations. Other than the country session, a session will be organized on increased income and improved quality in the dairy sector through improved nutrition and modern farm management and a session on profitable business models in high-tech greenhouses.
